Nancy received her Bachelor of Arts degree from Marylhurst University and her Master’s Degree in Counseling Psychology from University of Montana. Nancy has 12 years experience in residential and outpatient programs with both adolescents and young adults. Nancy has provided therapy to many families as their children work to increase their self esteem, develop strengths and passions and prepare for a self-directed and confident adulthood. Nancy has extensive training in the therapeutic modalities of cognitive-behavioral therapy, EMDR for the treatment of trauma, grief recovery and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy. Nancy’s expertise includes teaching skills to manage anxiety and depression. As a certified alcohol and drug counselor, Nancy considers addiction a family disease and her work with people struggling with alcohol or drug abuse often includes other family members.


Nancy’s experience includes working in a university mental health program treating students with many and varied mental health concerns. Nancy worked at an adoption counseling reunion center in Seattle, Washington, where she gained experience working with all members of the adoption circle. Nancy, has and continues to, address attachment issues regularly in her therapeutic practice.
