Emily Thimesch

Residential Coach

Emily feels at home in the mental health field. Her personal challenges and formal training have stoked her passion for helping others live healthy, productive lives. Emily grew up in the San Francisco Bay Area and earned her degree in psychology from Willamette University in Salem, Oregon. Following graduation, Emily relocated to Bend, OR, to work for a wilderness therapy company, as a field instructor, for more than two years. This experience combined Emily’s love of the outdoors and a commitment to creating a safe space for anyone feeling like there is nowhere to turn for healing and growth to begin.

Emily is excited to now be in a position to help take successful wilderness therapy participants to the next level. By consistently holding people accountable and approaching all clients and situations from a nonjudgmental place, Emily strives to create a safe and productive space for clients to challenge themselves and grow. In her free time, Emily loves exploring the natural beauty of Bend, while hiking, rafting or playing sand court volleyball.
