Chris is a Central Oregon local. He grew up in La Pine Oregon, a small town south of Bend where he discovered a love for and connection with the outdoors. After his enlistment in the Air Force, Chris returned to Oregon to attend school and began working in wilderness therapy for Evoke Cascades as a senior field instructor. Chris worked in the wilderness therapy field for 5 years teaching wilderness living techniques, therapeutic skills, and emotional literacy to young adults and adolescents.

Cascade Crest has provided Chris with the opportunity to incorporate his love for therapy, outdoor adventure activities and authentic human connection in a supportive community. When not working he can usually be found out in the wilds of Oregon hiking, fishing, climbing, or camping with his two dogs, Chewy and Rogue.

Chewy is a proud member of our Canine Clinical Team.
