Darcy earned a Bachelor’s degree from Houghton College, studying Sociology and Communications. Throughout high school and college, she worked with struggling adolescents within differing settings. In January of 2006, Darcy began her professional career working with a prominent wilderness therapy program. During her tenure, she fulfilled many roles within the company, including direct care Field Instructor, transitional mentor, and Field Director. Shifting professional gears a bit, Darcy is excited to be a part of the CCT team, serving as the Administrative Assistant. She brings enthusiasm in working with students and families, while helping the day to day office routine run smoothly. Seeing young people begin to take charge of their lives by making healthy decisions and accepting consequences for their actions, is what drives Darcy to continue working in the therapeutic world.
Originally from Holland, Michigan, Darcy brings her Dutch pride to her current home of Bend. She enjoys exploring the many indoor and outdoor activities Oregon has to offer, including local snow skiing and surfing on the coast. She shares these adventures with her trustee side-kick, Blinkin, the subservient Pitbull.
