Casey Kirkland holds a degree in experiential therapy from Prescott College and has experience as an adjunct faculty member teaching wilderness field courses. He is currently pursuing a Masters in Counseling Psychology with a focus in clinical mental health and addictions counseling. Additionally, Case is a SOLO Wilderness First Responder and is certified in wilderness medicine and avalanche training. For the past 7 years, he has worked for three different therapeutic outdoor programs with positions ranging from wilderness guide to field director. For over 15 years, Case has passionately worked with young people, sharing, teaching, and learning to produce continuous growth in their lives. His heart is to help people create and cultivate relationships. Case has lived in Bend for almost five years. In his free time, he can be found with his wife mountaineering, back-country skiing, mountain running, playing music, cooking and traveling.
